Our History
The Club was founded following a meeting at South Mall, Cork. Muskerry’s first president was Sir George Colthurst. The Muskerry Golf Course certainly caught the imagination, and The World of Golf magazine (Irish Section) of April 25, 1907 had this to say: “A single golf course for a sporting town like Cork was not keeping up with the times and, we are not surprised that a friendly rival to the Little Island course has arisen”. |

NEWS AND EVENTS
5TH GREEN
Our head greenkeeper Austin and his team have been doing some trojan work recently on the back of the 5th green.Trees behind the 5th green have been cut to allow more light to the green and to try and help with frost delays. This should allow for a better putting surface throughout the year. Thanks again to Austin and his team. |
